1 year ago Have you tried to use the packs provided here? Those have a lot of voices.
Otherwise:
Have you rooted the X10?
If so, can you access the default EN voice-pack on the bot,
download it with scp, and upload as an archive?

Where did you get the "X10 voice china.zip" pack? Can you provide the URL to the original location? Can you provide the same voice pack but in English language? (I don't speak Mandarin and I've given up on learning it a few times in this life time.)
The voice packs in this repositories, will not work with the X10 apparently, at this moment, as the voice pack you have linked contains more sayings. There are 244 sayings in the X10 voice pack you have linked, and I have currently only 188 in this repository. Otherwise, the voice pack uses ogg files, so once I know what each saying means, I can generate voice packs for the X10.
The bot needs to be rooted for the valetudo HTTP server to be installed on the bot. Valetudo has a nice interface where you can upload the voices.
I don't know how to upload the voices from the Xiaomi / Dreame phone apps. I have not installed, nor used those apps, and I am not be able to do so after my bot was rooted. So I can ONLY provide advice how to do this through valetudo as described in the README.md here.
I am sure it can be done using Xiaomi / Dreame phone apps or some other miio interface program. I believe it is just an API call to the bot, but have no experience with this.

I assume that dreame.vacuum.r2235 is only available on the Chinese market and it will take some time until it is available in other languages (that I could understand).
Alternatively, you could transcribe the meaning of the Chinese sayings from that file to English for me.
It is 244 sayings, but I assume that you could start with the defaults/sayings.csv file in this repo, which are already translated.
I was not able to find any online service that would transcribe traditional Chinese easily for free.

I'm very sorry for hijacking this issue, but I did not find any other way to contact you (yet), even though I already tried to stalk you and find your name on different platforms.. I've read your L10s Ultra review on amazon and came across it by googling how to root it because my S5 with valetudo just died and I'm very interested in the L10s Ultra, but don't want it to stalk me - I'm the one who stalks.. :D
So my kind question is: Could you please please give me any hints how to root it or where to find some more infos?

1 year ago @Xyr2: please, file your issue with the Vacuum-robot Adverse Event Reporting System. To speed it up, provide them with your Xiaomi Employer Id and LinkedIn account info. They have a lot of requests and Xiaomi and Dreame engineers are the priority.
I don't know how to describe how the root works, but it involves some crazy voodoo hardware, side-channel, crypto stuff and lot's of wires and flashing lights, plus holy-water with virgin salt and expensive silver coins. Almost like the Exorcist movie from the 70's. No smoke though. Some details should leak at the next DEFCON.
