Error Adding Event to Gcal #51

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem (i.e. what is an example search or
form submission that will produce the problem, please give all details)?
1. I scheduled a Bumpy baby and it said, "Error adding Event to Google
calendar. Expected response code 200, got 500."
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Expected the gcal event to export - nothing showed up.

If you have a hunch or know what the problem is, what is it?

Please provide any additional information below.

We seemed to have a problem like this before. Please check that (a) your
internet connection is working, (b) the google calendar id is right in the
database, (c) the google login and password is right in the database.

the internet is working - the google calendar id is correct (it is the same as
Deception and deception is working). how do I check the google login and
password in the db?

The 500 error is a temporary one...I just tried adding something to bumpy and
it worked fine. It could be something to do with some error on google's end
which does happen. I suppose a feature to add in the future would be to attach
a google calendar event to a scheduled baby in the database. This would address
this issue and you are more than welcome to add this as a feature request.
