Hi! Just a note to say that I think I'm finally getting some time to attend to Debatekeeper, and I plan to include this (and other debate formats people have submitted in the last few years) in the next release in couple of weeks, after I'm done with some refactoring. I'm just letting you know in case anything's changed about this format since you submitted it, so there's an opportunity to modify it if necessary. Thanks, and sorry about the delay!

Hi! A further update on my previous message. Since actual app updates have been too unreliable, I've decided to move debate formats to an online repository. Starting from the next version of Debatekeeper, to be released in the next month or so, Debatekeeper will allow users to download formats from this repository (from within the app). Most debate formats will no longer be distributed with the app itself.

I wanted to invite you to resubmit your format to the new repository at https://github.com/czlee/debatekeeper-formats. I can just copy the file over if you prefer, but I just thought it would be proper for you to get credit for the commit in that repo.

Since it's an online repository, after the Debatekeeper update goes out on Google Play, it'll become available to users (who have updated the app) as soon as it's merged into the new repository. So there's no strict deadline—it doesn't have to get in before app release—but if I haven't heard anything a few weeks after the update is released (probably around late October 2021), I'll go ahead and copy the file to the new repository myself.

Thanks again for submitting this pull request!

Hello again, I have another update.

I've decided to license the new online formats repository at https://github.com/czlee/debatekeeper-formats under the MIT License. This is a more permissive licence than the one this repository uses (GPL-3.0). Since you submitted your format file to a repository that used a more restrictive licence, I feel that I can't assume you'd be okay with your contributions going into the new online repository.

I'll be happy to add your format to the new repository once either:

If you'd like to discuss this privately, please don't hesitate to send me an email at czlee@alumni.stanford.edu.

On another note, I gather this format is practised in German. The upcoming update of Debatekeeper adds support for multilingual formats, and if you wish, you can see an example of this applied to Offene Parlamentarische Debatte. If you're interested in updating your submission accordingly that'd be great, but I'm also happy to do that work—I just need to hear if the MIT License is okay with you.

Thanks once again for submitting this pull request and I apologise for the delay and bother.
