Since I was a kid I loved playing with building blocks
Since I was a kid I loved playing with building blocks and I found that programming is just like playing with building blocks.
The only difference is that you can't see the building blocks and all you get is description of building blocks but the description is often wrong and there is money involved and the client tells you what they want but you don't fully understand what they are saying and what they think they want is rarely what they need and there are other people playing with you as well and you have to work together to satisfy the client but they don't always play nicely and they speak different language figuratively and or literally and communicating with them is like Chinese whispers and you need to get it right because if you get it wrong people will get angry and will lose money or they could even die and the clock is ticking and the floor is lava and there is an earthquake.
But other than that it's just like playing with building blocks, and I love building blocks.
