To hide the XML completely from the diagram designer (read: get rid of
http://bobbinwork.wikispaces.com/nieuwe+werktekening+maken) we need
something to drop new stitches on the diagram.
At first sight that might look easy: copy something to the internal
clipboard, click on the diagram, tadaa!? No, not yet tadaa. The program
needs to know
- to which threads to connect the new stitch?
- the runner with the next, but what is the runner?
- where to add it in the tree view?
- child/neighbour of the selected element?
- before/after?
- should it be tilted, how much?
- needs the chosen position correction?
- is it a copy that should be adjusted together with its original, or is it
independent?
Replacing the XML with complex forms like the polar grid generator still
would not make it user friendly.
Idea's are needed, especially about default behaviour.
