The current stoichiometric subspace function is clunky and buggy. It needs to be streamlined -- broken up into smaller, more manageable sub-functions -- and tested properly.
At a minimum, it should be able to handle both 1-D and n-D reactions. It should also be able to compute the overall stoichiometric subspace for multiple feeds and a single reaction stoichiometry (for a single stoichiometric coefficient matrix)
