In build extension for the terminal does not work

Followed the docs, have a slide with the following markdown test.md

 bash -il

Should render and interactive terminal renders just markdown code block

Also Debug logging does not work wih lookatme --log or --debug

Version is 2.3.2 Python 3.9.1 Mac OSX 10.14.6 Iterm2 Build 3.4.10
