Hey,

Not sure if anyone else is having this issue, but whenever this extension is enabled in Burp, my CPU seems to lose its mind, maxes out, fans go crazy, temp goes through the roof, disable this extension and its fine again.

Hey @b33fstrogan0ff Yes, it is known "problem" for Ruby on Rails. There are two ways to solve the problem:

  • disable Ruby at Settings panel
  • Update extension to latest version. The passive scan is disabled by default now. You can enable it on Proxy settings. Please let me know if it doesn't work. Cheers

I don't have Ruby enabled. I just installed it from the BApp store, but just noticed it's not the latest version, 1.04 is what is on the BApp store, but 1.05 is the latest. I've just installed 1.05 and my machine doesn't resemble an AirBus A380 anymore so seems that's done the trick.

Thanks!

@d0ge

I'm facing the same issue, so why doesn't it use the GPU to take advantage of its capabilities? Also I don't have Ruby enabled.
