@serapath are you involved in that project or just come across it?

I know the person - I met him first in C-Base (related to Chaos Computer Club) - he lives in Berlin/Germany and works for NGO's to help refugees. I met him once and we were discussing some other thought around 2 other related projects he is working on, which are a crypto currency with a baked in basic unconditional income and and crypto shares that make it possible to co-own companies.

I was discussing with him a potential collaboration on the iiaom project a few months back, but I couldnt see the big picture, even though I understand the problem it's meant to solve is a very important one. If there was a bigger community that would actually consider that approach valid and would offer to use it, I would reconsider to work on it and dig deeper into the details (for now I don't understand the mechanics of iiaom - but get approx. what it's supposed to be used for)

The problem is, how do you know these signatures were not generated by bots to each other?

All you need is a few cheaters to introduce bots and then away we go.

I think you may need trustlines.
