I cannot see my messages #182

Description:

I have successfully installed nchat on Debian 12 and setup my telegram account, I can't see my messages but I can see those of my contacts, my messages are sent correctly but in the client I see them invisible.

How to reproduce it: nchat --setup

Environment: i3

Update: Same problem happens with WhatsApp

It was because of my color theme, the messages appeared but because of my color theme my message were the same color as the background.

Thanks for the positive feedback and good to hear you got it working. I'll look into adding a FAQ entry for this in case others encounter it.
