11 years ago Hm... its strange that you mention mkdir -p would be required. at those points of the script, the /usr/local/snort directory should have been created, if snort compiled correctly. If /usr/local/snort (the parent directory for most of the directories you modified for mkdir -p) doesn't exist, something went way wrong during the compile portion of the script.
