Expected way to run on Windows #243

What is the expected way of running the appveyor build on windows? On Linux I'm generally fine with a zip containing typical bin, share..., on windows it's a bit more complicated. I'm using MSYS2/mingw64 as my default unixificiation of windows.

If I just start nvim-gtk.exe, some icons are missing (new tab, paste from clipboard, menu and some others). I get a windows shell with :term and :! commands. Fine but why is it not picking up the icons? Didn't get any debug running it from cmd.exe.

If I start using MSYS2 shell, the output is way more chatty, I get all the icons BUT it doesn't pick up the shell correctly and I have to :set shellcmdflag=-c
