cannot authorise flickr #34

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. open app
2. try to authorise flickr
3. get error message right away. recieved authentication message is null

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
received authentication message is null

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
latest

Hi brightcode, please double check if you have set the time properly on your 
tablet. This is usually the main reason why the authorization fails for you.

I am also having the same problem. Never remember program asking for username, 
if using my gmail account info it is not linked to Flickr. I use a different 
one for that. I tried the time adjust using Nave Clock app, which syncs with 
atomic time.

same problem here. i've checked the time on my tablet and it is correctly set 
on my timezone. seems like it's a common issue.

will provide more infos, if you need them.

Hi I'm having same issue with my Samsung Tab 2 10.1.running ice cream 
sandwich...same messages as above, and my time set correctly.....please fix.

going into android settings, selecting date and time and checking the 
"automatic date & time"  box solved my problem

I was using Chrome Beta as my default browser. I copied the url and pasted it 
into the browser that comes on my Xoom.  It works fine now.
