Can you provide methods for finding proper element ids within flex api

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Non-flash testing can get a good locator with couple of methods, selenium 
ids, xpather etc, however, I felt difficult to get unique id to use it into the 
selenium plex api functions

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
can some sort of methods be provided to allow user to easily get element ids

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
