Hi @jpugliesi! Thanks for this - a couple questions.

I noticed in the release notes that the com.simba.athena.amazonaws class path has been updated to com.amazonaws - I'm guessing this upgrade will require this class to be updated. Have you tested the driver with the new version?
The JAR_URL version in the Makefile will need to be updated because the JDBC driver is now released with and without the AWS SDK. I'm assuming you used the version with the AWS SDK?

Took a look at question 2 and the Makefile needs to be reworked to account for 1/ The .jar download changing to a .zip download and the name of the included jars being slightly different.

I'm working on that part now.

Closing this in favor of #96 - new builds need to use a new approach as Metabase changed it's driver dependencies.
