Rich Text Editor: Errors when going to fullscreen in markdown mode #813

Expected behavior

If viewing RTE in Markdown mode, when clicking the Fullscreen button the RTE should go to a fullscreen view.

Actual behavior

If viewing RTE in Markdown mode, when clicking the Fullscreen button the page goes blank and there are console errors (see below)

Steps to reproduce the problem

  1. Enter text in RTE and change to Markdown mode.
