Some info on the main display, incorrect

In 20130414-00 release you announced new General enhancements such as "Added 
some info to the main display"

If i configured some of button (Configuring Buttons) for Flash on/off,  at the 
bottom of the screen displays information about the flash mode (on / off) 
But if i select russian language information on my language do not displayed. 
Displayed only non cyrillic symbols.

In my last language file this string  have only english symbol and 
transliteration for russian (A_FLASH              = Flash (Vspyshka))

Please check this issue.

We can only display a very limited set of ASCII characters on the main display 
(menus are different): just [a-z], [A-Z], [0-9], and a few standard symbols are 
available. Thus all "A_" strings in the language file must contain only those 
characters; other symbols are silently ignored.

This is a known limitation, and I do not expect to have it fixed in a near 
future; I am afraid that the language file should be adapted.
