Animated image on Imgur doesn't animate in TZP #234

I think it's because they posted a link to a one-image gallery instead of to the image's page itself. The pop-up does animate if I hover the thumb for "Death in Space" on the right side of the imgur.com page.

So I think it's a somewhat unusual situation related to galleries. Have you seen this problem often or is it just a fluke?
