Works via /Library (all users) but not ~/Library (single user only) #5

Hi! I reported this long ago on Reddit when this was first released, figured I'd mention it here to help others who might be troubleshooting too.

I notice that message-indicator only works when MySIMBL has it enabled for /Library (green dot in the UI) and not ~/Library (yellow dot in the UI.) I have mySIMBL set up so that all of my other plug-ins are enabled for ~/Library only. Is there any reason Message Indicator can't be set up in the same way, or must it also be installed for ALL users?

@Fofer can you give me an example of an open source mySIMBL tweak that works with ~/Library only?

Sure, here are all the ones that that work for me in ~/Library as well as /Library:

spotifyPlus.bundle safariSoda.bundle NotificationClear.bundle cleanHUD.bundle cDock.bundle binventory.bundle

Thus far, message-indicator has been the only one I've come across that works in /Library only.

@w0lfschild, any idea what would cause this? I'm really not that experienced with SIMBL, and why my tweak would be different.
