Reduce transparency is turned off. Switching dark/ligth mode did not help also

i have got the same trouble as @JuliaRakitina Julia

ChristianTraxler commented 2 years ago

Yes I can't seem to get it to work as well. However, I am using a M1 Mac. Is there going to be an update to work with this?

dado3212 commented 2 years ago

@ChristianTraxler see this comment on #75 if you're looking to test out an M1 build.

dennisrcao commented 2 years ago

Got the same issue here, not on an M1

richjames0 commented 2 years ago

Sadly I'm having this issue too. Would be happy to work with you to debug it, as it'd be amazing to have this working :)

tacomania commented 1 year ago

Same issue but I'm on Ventura. Hope to resolve! I've had this working on past machines and LOVE it.

pedroponte commented 1 year ago

same here, also on ventura

Saidfatah commented 1 year ago

any updates , M1 user here I can't get it to work !

spacemudd commented 1 year ago

Opened MacForge, disabled and then renabled the plugin. Then opened Spacerenamer. It worked.

Weirdly enough this worked for me too. What I did specifically

Thank you @spacemudd !

@richjames0 Hi, I met the same problem, so I tried your methods, but it doesn't work. I cannot find 'remove' there.

richjames0 commented 1 year ago

Update: https://github.com/dado3212/spaces-renamer/issues/75#issuecomment-1201511482 worked for me so perhaps the problem was just the M1ness

@geweihgg Sadly I can no longer get it working on a new M1 Mac :(

The UI has changed but the equivalent of Remove is presumably Trash or possibly unticking the box, but even with that I can't make it work.

Basically, as before, everything appears to be working, but the spaces names don't actually change

spiritually-soup commented 1 year ago

edit: it's somehow working now once I launched from the MacForge Featured page (using open button). But my Manage Plugins page is still inexplicably blank.

MacOS Monterey 12.6.6

It doesn't work for me either.... and the `update` button is greyed out. image Nothing appears under `Manage Plugins` either, despite having the bundle in the correct folder when I checked :( image image

Closing this issue, most of this should be handled by the special Apple Silicon install instructions. If people are running into new issues, please open a new task!
