Refactor as kvz/bash3boilerplate #23

This script is a perfect canidate for refactoring to match the awesome template provided by kvz/bash3boilerplate.

Just FYI, should be a new release coming for kvz/bash3boilerplate in the not so distant future.

At some point adding the ability to use it as a library is also on my todo list (i.e. source it and provide argument parsing as a function to be called...)

@kvz That's good to hear. I look forward to checking out those features, especially a sourcable arg-parse function.

@dadoug just FYI the source able arg-parse function is something I'm planning on implementing and is not in the latest release and may not be there for a little while, since I'm short on time these days.
