Anaother Temprature Sensor? #33

Hello, i want use the temperature sensor from my Hygrometer. Is it possible to choose another Sensor?

No that's not possible. You can maybe achieve something like this by using a https://www.home-assistant.io/integrations/generic_thermostat/ ?

A generic thermostat works only with a switch :( a out of the box thermostat like Fritz Thermostat not working.

i find that i have to use this to create the group and then use the resulting climate group in "a better thermostat" which is another integration that allows other temperature sensors. the reason why i use this climate_group is because there is a bug in better-thermostat when you specifiy more than 1 entity.

would be better if better-therm fixed their bug and/or this integration had possibility for other_temp_sensor
