hello my cupra born stop charging at 80% (like battery care) but in the app and in car is 100% preset. in home assistant also 100% preset.

i asked the cupra dealer and they told me to reset the car to factory settings. i did and it is immediatelly charging upwards of 80.

than when i put again back my user at login it stops charging.

so what is overwriting the target state of charge. i also remove the cupra we connect from Homeassistant. - nothing happend. again not charging.

iam out of ideas

Problem is since 0.8 we_connect update

so i did simply remove the LAN cable from home Assistant. and all worked with charging oder 80%.

so its an bug in the cupra we connect

how to find out what the problem is

No such problem here - updating in HA is reflected in both the app and car for me. What charger are you using and do you have any restrictions set there as well that could conflict with the car?

Do you have any errors in the logs around Sended target SoC call to the car ?

Likewise @daernsinstantfortress all working as you described for me too.

Fronius wattpilot. in wallbox is no restriction. as i said. when i unplug HOASS from internet than all is fine. when i remove the registered user from the Car it will charge.

manually i can start charging in the car than the we_connect is overwriting the target SOC every ~3-5min with 80% and it stops charging

or is there any funktion in we-connect with "Battery_care"

last year all worked fine until the 0,80 update came in januar

It sounds to me like you have an automation that sets the charge level I have one like this for example: image

Looks in the logs?

80 % = battery care mode on ?
