Option to choose length of Hit summary

When searching on fields which can be long, the result is a truncated line
of text. 

It would be nice to be able to choose how much context is given before it
is truncated. I didn't manage to find anywhere in djapian which performs
this truncation.

Please post here more information about your issue. I don't understand what
truncation you are talking about.
