Recent Feb 2023 Dual 200s model purchased

I am new to OpenHAB with fresh installed on Ubuntu 22.10

openHAB 3.4.1 Release Build

Status: OFFLINE COMMUNICATION_ERROR Device Model or Type not supported by this thing

Maybe the 200s Device Type though D301S ? Levoit 200s Device Type LUH-D301S-WUSR MAC Id 40:22:d8:c1:88:6e Device Name Dual 200s

Hi @CoolGames,

Thanks for the details above it helps. I'll look at making the identification irrelevant of region - as its missing the -WUSR. In the meantime if I did a quick build to include it would you be happy testing on your OpenHab version to check it does work precisely as the -WEU revision. (If so can you advise of the version of OpenHab you are using so I can build against the same version for you)?

It would be good to get capture that the potential changes are tested and verified when a PR is raised against OpenHab later.

Hi @CoolGames, If there's any chance you could check with a v4 install this build and post back to the thread linked to that would be great thanks. I believe this should identify your device above 🤞 https://community.openhab.org/t/vesync-binding-help-testing-requested/144175

@dag81 I am running V3.4.1 and have forgotten why I didn't try v4 yet. I will try to reinstall or ideally upgrade to v4 to verify the VeSync. I also have to learn OpenHAB as I have not use it before.

HI @CoolGames,

I'm still awaiting the review of the code merge request so the changes wont be in v4 quite yet. If your on 3.4 there's a build linked in the thread from the community forum. You should be able to install it by copying it to your add-on's directory then restarting openhab. If you have installed the distribution based build, you will need to remove that one afterwards and then restart Openhab.
