The Working Title mods can have some issues regarding flight plan syncing and way point altitudes. Try the following workarounds when using this utility.
In the Simrate Control config.ini set
[stability]
nav_mode_guarded = False
In the CJ4 FMS turn on Flight Plan Syncing in the FMS:
IDX -> Next -> Mod Set -> FP Sync ON
Game Flight Plan
Load a game flight plan into the FMS. IDX -> Next -> ROUTE MENU -> FPLN RECALL (GAME)
Simbrief Method
In the Simrate Control config.ini set
[metrics]
waypoint_minimum_agl = 99999
DO NOT SET A FLIGHT PLAN AT THE WORLD MAP. Select only the departure airport.
Follow the WT instructions for linking to Simbrief.
IDX -> Next -> ROUTE MENU -> FPLN RECALL (SB)
Check the flight plan on the VFR map. You might need to delete some stray legs. See this issue at WT.
If Simrate Control and the FMS become desynchronized, note the currently active waypoint.
Reload the Simbrief flightplan mid flight.
Set the way point noted above to direct to if the flight plan does not catch up on its own.
A similar issues seems to exist in the WT G1000Nxi. There is not a workaround like the above for that mod. You will just need to carefully check the world flight plan (VFR map) against the FMS flight plan and use your best judgement. The world flight plan will update when you get the waypoint it expects you to go to.
