Screensaver crashes upon exit #20

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Preview the screensaver from the Display Properties control panel window.
2. Wait a few seconds.
3. Press a key or click the mouse.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The screensaver should exit gracefully.
Instead, an error message comes up saying it has unexpectedly quit, and
asks if you want to send an error report to Microsoft (I did).

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
SurveillanceSaver_Alpha_3_Win32.zip
on Windows XP Professional 2002 service pack 2.

Please provide any additional information below.

By the way, the display adapter used was the Intel 82865G Graphics Controller
