Cura Toolpath not saving #1499

Hi, Ive been trying to rectify this problem but have had no luck. My Cura software will not save toolpaths for Gcodes after it loads a particular design. It doesnt let me scale object, nor does it show me the amount of time it will take to complete the print.

I also just updated to the latest version, thinking it would fix the problem but it still persists. I havent been able to use my printer since this problem started. Please help fix it.

Did you upgrade to version 2.1.2 or to 15.04.5? This repository is sorta discontinued after the release of 2.1, though issues can still be reported.

I'd also like to know if anything happens when you try to save the toolpath. Is the button greyed out or gone? Or is it that just nothing happens when you press the button? Or is it that you can press the button and save a file but the file is empty or no file is produced?

And how does it not allow you to scale the object? Is the 3D view frozen? Do the tool handles not appear? Does nothing happen when you drag the tool handles?
