How to set playback speed? #77

I'm trying set default playback speed for the player. But I can't find an option for playback speed. As the video player, it really needs playback speed options.

Thank you. Help you will support playback speed option soon.

Hi Sirhvd, thanks for the comment about using our player, unfortunately, this feature isn't available yet via our Player API in order to change the player back rate of the video. However, it is in the pipeline for our product and will be considered for development in the near future.

Thanks for following up with this.

Over the last 2 years we have done work on our new state-of-the-art Player integrations methods and Player API, these officially went live in December 2021 after a period of beta testing. We invite you to check out the documentation here: https://developers.dailymotion.com/player/#player

As of this new release, please be aware we are in the process of discontinuing support for this legacy Js SDK product. Regarding the playback speed functionality, it's possible for the user to control the speed of the video via the Player UI itself. As we've just released a new Player API, I advise you to follow our release notes when where we will highlight when this functionality will be available in the New Player API. https://faq.dailymotion.com/hc/en-us/articles/4414980433170.

If you can share why you'd like this feature and how you plan on using it that would be great and I will share it with our products teams.

hey 👋 closing this issue as we deprecate this integration method. We no longer support this SDK for Player integration. It can be used for interaction with the Data API only. The Player should be embedded using the new default Player integration method, info can be found here.

Concerning the Playback Speed it's now possible with our new Product
