Many apps/places already have Calendars that we could import to add events to the calendar. This could be a full-fledged feature in the future (I can see google calendar linking being an cool thing for later) but just having a way to dump in the events from a .ics file would be swell. the iCalendar gem has lots of examples of parsing these types of files
