Clause 7.1 says that “Only through the provision of rich [accessibility] metadata can a user decide if the content is suitable for them”. In the end of clause 7.2 there is a link to document DIST-002, which gives an example on how to describe some accessibility features in ONIX. But no complete ONIX example is available, and there are no MARC 21 guidelines.
Proposed Change: In order to improve interoperability of metadata, the standard should provide full examples in MARC 21 and ONIX. In MARC 21, it is possible to provide accessibility metadata by using e.g. tag 532 (Accessibility note) and 341 (Accessibility content).
