This is the same code that I submitted as a comment in your SAS issue last week. Minus a couple things that I see you already implemented.
It fixes the one bug I reported:
SATA drives that do not report a rotation rate get ignored by the script
And it also enhances the summary table for SAS drives to report accumulated start stop cycles, load unload cycles, and non-medium errors. For proof that the code works, I attached a screenshot from my server.
