Bullseye OS #34

Is dakboard going to move to Bullseye OS to take advantage of the additional hardware acceleration? I run videos on my Dakboard and java intensive embeds. Any improvement to performance and decrease of heat would be welcome.

Hi Narflar,

This is a goal for DAKboard at this time. We have just released DAKboard OS v2.26 which upgraded kernel to 5.10.63 for compatibility with the new Pi Zero W2 with other enhancements. The upgrade path to Bullseye has not been as straightforward as originally anticipated and will require more development work at this time, at the moment we do not have an ETA but we will publish the upgrade in our release section when completed. https://github.com/dakboard/Hardware-OS/releases
