Describe the bug In DAKboard OS 2.32, the Chromium-Browser opened from taskbar is failing to load properly. The taskbar at top is not loading completely and the localhost page for settings does not load. If you close and reopen it 5 or so times it will finally load properly. This appears to be a GPU flag issue based on experience.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Power on the DAKboard OS 2.32 Pi.
  2. After screen is loaded, Press ALT+F4.
  3. Open Chromium-browser, or Device Configuration page from start menu to open browser.
  4. Observe browser issues.

Expected behavior Browser should open without visual defects and perform normally.

Device Type (please complete the following information):

DAKboard OS Version (please complete the following information): 2.32 Bullseye release.

Additional context Review enabled default flags for the chromium-browser for potential root cause. Likely video driver flags set are the reason for this issue.

This issues was resolved by completing updates into the shortcuts for opening the chromium-browser and Device Configuration shortcuts to open the GL desktop.

The flag below was added to both shortcuts, browser window now operates normally and can display configuration page without errors: --use-gl=desktop
