Images are cropped too much #11

Sorry to bother you again, but after having run opencv_calibrate.py successfully i end up with calibration pictures that are cropped in very far. consequently running undistort.py with these settings gets me unusable images. I noticed that the sample images the same effect if not to that extend. Is there a way I can correct that? Maybe take new calibration images from a shorter distance?

I think you're right. Try to take images where the chessboard takes up more of the frame.

Did you manage to get it working?

I did not have time to take new pictures yet. The only thing I did test so far is to transform a set of images using a camera profile in raw therapee. The profile is linked in this forum: https://mavicpilots.com/threads/lightroom-lense-correction-for-mavic.2484 Its just now that i read I is for dng-files only... I compared the orthomosaics that resulted from the corrected and uncorrected images and could not find significant differences.
