Insert background image #59

What's your idea? Often when i want to sketch something its to rough out a layout plan, or think about relative sizes of things as I'm planning a build. Its always helpful to, for instance snap a picture of the room where something is going to be and draw a sketch of it in place.

I feel like this is basically saying “make photoshop, but inside Obsidian” but maybe the implementation could be simple enough? Just insert photo or pdf as a background and let me draw over it.

Regardless, love the plugin! Your hard work is appreciated!

I’ll add that being able to use pdfs to, for example, add an engineering paper template or whatever else you could want would be huge. Either tile and add a whole new page when you hit the bottom or crop it to the handwriting.

It would be helpful to be able to set squared lines instead of lined lines.
