Checked wrflowinp files, there is no sea ice at all even in d01, other variables seem reasonable (slightly changing in time). Checked albedo for Salar de Uyuni: Whereas in reality it is: Not sure if it is a problem worth touching though.

On nudging: That's a comparison of model runs: "nudging and realistic lake temperature" against "without nudging and fixed low lake temperature". Not sure what kind of conclusion can be drawn from it.
