Slow usb 3.0 transfers? #234

Hi, I noticed that USB3 speed is very slow, it takes about 20minutes to transfer 15gb to an external usb 3.0 flash drive, is this normal? Is there something I can do about it? Thanks

Are you sure that your flash drive speed is above 12m/s in continuing read/write? Many cheap flash drive with USB 3.0 protocol never reach USB 3.0 speed due to using a slow NAND.

Your best shot would be testing it in another machine, In my mi pro, it's working well, reaching about 400mb/s at peak(using an SSD and usb3 to SATA cable).

I can’t test it on another pc now because i’m not home, I’m doing it as soon as I get home
