Hello So I decided that I’m taking me Notebook Pro to the next level and want to fix once and for all the WIFI and BT so I purchased this card from Taobao (it took forever to receive it) and I want to install it. First I just want to know if this card will work and if there’s any instructions on how to install this card. I found in TonyMacX86 some PDF but it’s an old version and I think that this card is better.

Also as I understand this will not fix the Bluetooth so I need to use this solution ? Because I found this post - is this solution will work?

Also will it kill my windows Wi-Fi and BT?

Wifi should be plug and play, by need soldering, you can see how in the wiki.

By the way, there’s a way to drive intel bt by vm, that I created a script for that work almost perfect.

I would recommend you to trying to solder it first if you know how to solders, or maybe just use vm script and be risk free.

About windows WiFi, there’s driver for it so you should be fine. And windows bt would be fine if you soldered bt or leaved intel antennas untouched.

As I understand the VM solution is good until sleep or turning off the Pc as it says :

“ The method we are going to use is based on the above method except we won't be losing our firmware until we restart or put our machine to sleep.”

Thanks - I will try everything later and hope it will work

By the way , the soldering method, I don’t understand from where to where the cable is running , Carefully solder D+ and D- wires to the WLAN_LTE slot - but where do I connect the other side of the cables?

Have 2 more quick questions :

  1. Where do I need to position the end of the 2 WiFi cables?

  1. What is the best way to go with BT , using the fingerprint scanner way(do it disable the windows login option?) Or the other option with WLAN_LTE?

Theses cable are antennas connectors, you need to connect that to the original antennas.. in upper left.

WLAN_LTE option is better, but harder to solder.

Fingerprints option will disable fingerprint scanner so you will no longer be able to use that in windows. That option is for gtx version or you broke wlan_lte by overheating it.

Thanks , but what do you mean “this option” so to make it work I need to solder to the WLAN but man it’s so small - I think I will go to someone that specializes in this
