USB C Speed 2.0 #43

the usb type C not have the correct speed. I don't have this laptop, but I follow and help a Spanish community in Telegram. @johnnync13 Thanks for your report. If you are using my release, you will have full speed type C. It is already solved in my 5-16-2018 EFI version.

The Spanish community will be super grateful. I do not have money to buy this laptop but if I have knowledge about hackintosh, I have tried to contribute as much as possible, thanks to people who use beta-testers.

@stevezhengshiqi how can you fix trackpad on installation usb? I have xiaomi notebook air temporaly and i'm trying to install hackintosh, but in installation not works trackpad and don't have hub for more usb. https://github.com/johnnync13/EFI_XIAOMI_NOTEBOOK_AIR_SKYLAKE

It's a little bit off topic. I encountered the same problem when I installed Mojave, not High Sierra. For the installation of High Sierra, we can use origin VoodooI2C.zip to let trackpad work. I don't come up with solution yet on Mojave's installation.

It seems like your EFI folder is a little messy. For example, VoodooI2CUPDDEngine.kext should not be included. And VoodooGPIO.kext is supposed to stay inside VoodooI2C.kext/Contents/PlugIns . You can see specific instruction here.
