High memory usage in BigSur #594

After updating to BigSur months ago my computer become very slow and all the 16gb of RAM are often full without practically doing anything...

Any idea why of these low performances? I'm on EFI 1.6.1 Clover KBL

I am sorry that we can't do anything regarding with memory issue. It's a userspace problem, and Big Sur is known to be memory-hungry for UI rendering and many other services.

@stevezhengshiqi thanks for your reply, as i commented on this issue https://github.com/daliansky/XiaoMi-Pro-Hackintosh/issues/593#issuecomment-924857813 after Big Sur 11.6 there seems to have been an improvement but I have encountered a problem with the mouse and trackpad upon waking up after sleep. Thanks
