I recommend using OpenCore to update to Monterey. Intel Bluetooth may not work and you need to manually update BlueToolFixup v2.6.1 or wait for the next release.
@stevezhengshiqi - Hope you are well. I have Windows 11 and Mac in 2 different disks. I amusing the last OC in EFI and tried formatting the Mac drive as APPS/GUID many times but still not able to choose the disk while installing as I get error "the update cannot be installed on this computer " Any help to resolve this will be helpful
I never met this issue before, maybe try a nvram rest? @kampav
@stevezhengshiqi - I will give it a go
@stevezhengshiqi I am stuck "A required firmware update could not be installed" after installation was rebooted. Any advice?
Maybe you can try OC EFI in https://github.com/daliansky/XiaoMi-Pro-Hackintosh/suites/4178760881/artifacts/107570890. I see OpenCore updates their firmware database which might help. @kampav
Switch to OC as recommended.
Hello, is it safe to install MacOs Monterey on EFI v1.6.2? Thanks
