Profile text getting cut off for longer profiles. #24

I'm noticing some of the profiles on our site are getting cut off. We should probably find a reasonable character limit, migrate the db, and let everyone know to update their profile on the mailing list.

@esmale think you can take care of that? You're now an official committer btw! :)

While you're at it, do you mind making the name required on the profile form? We've got a few blanks.

Merged #30 to fix this
