What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. in SMSdroid, open any thread
2. press the "send" button in the lower right (without typing anything) in
order to switch to webSMS
3. type 'No way!' into the text message field, save the message as draft (from
menu)
4. later, back in SMSdroid, press at the new draft message that has been added
to the thread and select 'send draft' in the popup menu in order to switch to
webSMS again
5. in webSMS, delete the words 'No way!', type 'Oh yes!'
6. send the message via GSM or any provider of your choice
What is the expected output?
In the SMSdroid thread, there should be a new "sent" message reading 'Oh yes!'.
The 'No way!' draft should be gone.
What do you see instead?
In place of the draft, the SMSdroid thread shows a new, allegedly "sent"
message reading 'No way!'.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
webSMS 4.5.1 with SMSdroid 1.4 on Android 2.1.1
Please provide any additional information below.
* The message that is actually sent out over the network correctly reads 'Oh
yes!'.
* If you, instead of sending the re-edited draft right away, try to "save as
draft" it again, the changes you just made will be LOST (the draft will still
read 'No way!').
So this bug appears to be a problem with saving, not sending.
