btk 0.3.0 python import issue for mac Mavericks #85

Hi,

I am having the following output:

"Fatal Python error: PyThreadState_Get: no current thread"

when importing btk in Python 2.7.9 (Anaconda dist).
I have MacOSX Mavericks (10.9)

The version I have installed is the following one:

btk-0.3.0-py2.7_macosx-10.7-intel.egg

Any clue? Do I have to built it?

I've had this exact problem for man months.  I have the the enthought python 
distribution -canopy installed.
