Matplotlib and other plots in RISE mode appear briefly and then disappear #366

Hi all

I am trying to display interactive Piecharts/Line Charts, using matplotlib. I have tried all options including %pylab notebook and %matplotlib notebook, but when i switch to RISE mode, the plot appears for a millisecond upon execution of a block, and then disappears out of view, to the input cell with the code is displayed in view. This is true with any basic graph/plot that i create.

Can you post one of those notebook containing the figure that you see failing to appear? Also, can you provide notebook version and browser version? Thanks.
