Recently I have managed to get buildroot working for 32-bit RISC-V no MMU system. I think maybe it's possible to merge these changes to your repo?

I also have done an RV64 no MMU building test and it worked fine, so the existing code is (probably) not broken. So far I haven't met the userspace crash problem yet.

All this work is now upstream in the official buildroot tree. So I think it is better to rebase your work on that and submit the patches to buildroot list.
