Moving Pictures is a movies plug-in for the MediaPortal media center application. The goal of the plug-in is to create a very focused and refined experience that requires minimal user interaction. The plug-in emphasizes usability and ease of use in managing a movie collection consisting of ripped DVDs, and movies reencoded in common video formats supported by MediaPortal.

Movie info missing in OSD during playback. #1081

I have noticed lately, that sometimes when bringing up OSD during playback of a
movie (key y) I get empty movie info instead of full plot. By some
troubleshooting I found out that fist time I run MP and go to MovingPictures,
play a movie, every fiels are populated and shown correctly (23-32-11.png).
When I stop the movie and restart it, the info is gone, I get only basic info
about the file (23-32-44.png). This happens subsequently on any other movie
until I restart MP. This seems to be the problem of MovingPictues only, e.g. in
MPTVSeries OSD is always showing the full info on every try.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Start MP, go to MovingPictures and play a movie
2. during playback bring up OSD info (key y) - info is populated
3. stop the movie
4. play the same movie (or any other movie)
5. bring up OSD - movie info is missing

From the logs I can see that first time the variables #Play.Current.Title,
#Play.Current.Plot etc get populated, but after restarting the movie, there is
no such action any more.

What version of Moving Pictures are you using? 1.3.1
What version of MediaPortal? 1.2.2
What Skin? Black & White 1.6

The problem seems similar to an old one found here (but happens for every movie
for me):
