mitiok2002:
We certainly would appreciate your help with a Russian language file. You can
view
the current language files (English and Danish) here:
http://moving-pictures.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/MovingPictures/Resources/languag
e/
Just duplicate them for Russian and you should be good. \n indicates a new
line, and
{0} is variables that the plugin will fill in at run-time. Usually the movie
name.
Thanks!

what is the differences in between : Rate, Score and Popularity.
Original comment by mitiok2...@gmail.com

"Rate" is the name of the menu item that appears when you right click a movie.
this
is to enter an user rating.
"Score" is one of the sorting methods. It uses the IMDB stars, if IMDB is
your
importer
Don't worry about translating "Popularity." This is currently one of the
sorting
options, but we will be removing it, because it is not very useful as a sorting
option.
Thanks for your help! You too, HulleBulle :D

Just to be clear, "Rate" should be a verb describing the action of rating a
movie.
For example, I think Back to the Future is a great movie so I would *rate* it 5
out
of 5 stars.
"Score" should be a noun that refers to that 0-5 rating (although currently
this
refers to the rating pulled from an online source like IMDb, but it's the same
principle). For english we use the term "Score" instead of "Rating" because
rating is
commonly used to refer to a movie's MPAA rating (http://tinyurl.com/37n4ym),
and we
wanted to avoid confusion.

well, here is Russian translation. I put it in to coding page - windows-1251,
most
useful (all documents are usually in this code page) and UTF-8 with and with
out BOM
(have no idea what does it mean - just two possible options in editor). UTF-8
coding
is used in TV series russian translation. If you will send me beta-version of
plugin
I'll check which one is correct.
About translation: I use Mark as Russian analog for Rate, Rating as Score and
MPAA
rating as Certification. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Retagged the version number for this issue. This is not a rescheduling, we
are just changing our version number scale.
