It would be nice if we could change/remove backdrops within the Movie Manager.
I had
a movie which was incorrectly mapped. I could correct the movie-info but the
backdrops showed still the wrong picture - so I had to remove the file manually
in
the folder.

created an enhancement patch to
* have a preview of the current backdrop.
* select a new backdrop by filedialog. If this file is in another folder, it
creates
a safe copy in the backdrop fullsize folder.
* delete the backdrop file from the database, copy on disk remains
* preview backdrop with zoom function

Could this not be implemented in the same way as MP-TVSeries? There you can
press F9
and then select "FanArt" and it will display art available, you can select it
and it
downloads.
This would be very useful for those movies with no FanArt as you could manually
choose it within MP.

Marvenius, how do I apply this Patch? I noticed that there are many code lines,
but
what must I do with it?
Thanks.

You will have to be comfortable with applying patches to the source code. Keep
in
mind though that this was based on an older SVN revision and may not work
anymore.
If you are not comfortable with compiling your own unsupported dll, then this
may not
be for you.
Otherwise have a look here:

Retagged the version number for this issue. This is not a rescheduling, we
are just changing our version number scale.

I agree with comment #8 that it would be nice to have the F9 feature that
MP-TVSeries
has.

it would be nice to be able to change the background easier like tv-series

Same here. Would be a great enhancement, as some of the backdrops downloaded by
default are not really suited as fanart although there are quite good ones
ready to be downloaded right next to them.

Yes absolutely I aggree that it is necessary to download multiple backdrops
from net or local drive and change manually like Tv-Series...

I would love support for this as well! I always loved this in XBMC and the
anime plugin for Mepo :)

It would be great when the backdrops would change every few seconds
automatically like the music backdrops.
